The theme of this show is a subject artists rarely confront each other with but which brings to mind important and urgent reflections: the great technological innovations of the last 10 years have in fact increasingly changed the way in which human beings communicate with each other. However, in addition to having us develop new behaviors, these technologies make us reveal and share an ever-increasing amount of information about who we are, what we do and when we do it. How do these innovations fit into everyone’s life? Do they hinder us or are they useful?

Seven international artists were called to exhibit with over 20 works – some created for the occasion – to bring their own reflections on the interference that modern technologies have in our lives: Sheila Elias, Andres Levin, Fabrizio Bellanca, Hongtao Zhou, Duvier del Dago, Nicholas Berdysheff and Julio Figueroa Beltran.

Inauguration: Friday 12 July 2019 at 18.00
Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday and Sunday 11.00-19.00 | Saturday 11.00-22.00 || Monday closed.

“My art, whether it is photography, sculpture, or paintings, has always been a visual interpretation of my internal landscape, which is significantly influenced by external landscapes. My vision for “Vigilance” denotes caution of the over usage of technology in our everyday lives.” ~ Sheila Elias
